New Book

Focal Press has just released the book I wrote on pixilation, time-lapse and "downshooting." It's a look at these non-puppet stop-motion techniques with examples of my work along with other artists like PES, Blu, William Kentridge, Terry Gilliam and many more. Compositing the Sox and Yanks

This shot is an example for my Frame by Frame book of a composite that has matched lighting with the key light source coming from frame right. It just so happens that JP Crangle (a Yankees fan) can't stand being on the same platform as a Red Sox hat. The lighting matches but that's about it . . .
